Weekend & Taylor Swift Concert

Friday Clay and I hung out with our friends J* and A* and their brand new baby girl. Clay actually worked with both of them at Vivint back in Utah. We then found out J* had chose KU Law School as well. We went over to their apartment on Friday night to watch the BYU game. We all hung out, watched the game, and ate some yummy snacks. It was so nice to see them and get to know them a little better.

Saturday was such a fun day for us! We woke up Saturday morning and headed to the farmers market to just kind of look around. I mainly wanted to see what they sell and compare prices to stuff at the grocery store. After the farmers market, we went to this yummy restaurant on Iowa St. called First Watch. Everything is delicious! After breakfast we came back home and worked on homework.

As one of our wedding gifts, we got a gift card to P.F. Chang's. We had been saving it specifically for this day so we could enjoy a nice meal before the concert. So, made our way to Kansas City to enjoy some delicious lettuce wraps and crispy honey chicken. Now that we are poor married college students, we hardly ever eat out. After dinner, we made our way over to the stadium along with the other 50,000 fans.

It was such a fun concert. I think my favorite part was when a Taylor "look alike" came up in the stands by where we were sitting. Everyone around us started freaking out, thinking it was actually her. Everyone got up to get a picture with her. It was pretty funny! All in all, it was a very relaxing weekend and much needed!

  1. Woohoo! Sounds like a fun weekend. :) How are classes going for you, Morgan? You're doing study abroad, right? What classes are you taking?
